Common questions
Where are my drafts?
Invited alpha members can open the Writing Desk or see their own private test works on My writing. These drafts are not publicly published and may be reset during alpha testing.
How do I change my name or avatar?
Use Your profile to choose a display name, preset or uploaded avatar, biography, and social links. Your profile and uploaded avatar are currently private to your alpha account.
How do I verify or recover my account?
New invited accounts must use the one-hour verification link sent to their email. Account help can send a replacement verification link or a single-use password-reset link. Signed-in members can request a protected email change from Account settings.
Can I join the forum or message other members?
Eligible adult test members can use Community to enter the forum with their Athenaeum account. A one-time checkbox records their adult confirmation. Private messaging remains unavailable while moderation and member-safety controls are prepared.
Can I create a regular account or reset a password?
Account access remains limited during this alpha. Registered accounts have email verification and password recovery.
