01Private alpha test

A prepared solo scene

At the Old Crossing

A bell rings from an empty watchtower. The ferryman offers a crossing before dusk. Ask questions, cross, or leave. The next scene responds to what you actually chose.

  • Two consequential choices
  • Progress saved to your account
  • A record to revisit after the ending

This is a short scripted test, not yet an AI Storyteller or full campaign.

A conversation-first play room

Speak with the Storyteller

See how conversation, quick GM requests, character records, and requested visual aids can share one table without interrupting the story.

  • GM and player conversation window
  • Character and quick-sheet controls
  • Scene, map, and handout panel

The controls work in your browser. No live AI GM or campaign rules are connected.

03In development

A self-directed solo world

Find your own path

Create a character, move between places, meet people with their own lives, and pursue the work or trouble that interests you. Your relationships and discoveries should endure.

  • Character and starting circumstances
  • Places you choose to explore
  • Consequences that persist

The first world, its playable places, and its rules are still being built. There is no open-world session to enter yet.

What this alpha teaches us

The story should remember.

The Old Crossing lets us test a simple promise: your action is saved, the next choice reflects it, and the record is there when you return. The Athenaeum remains the home for your account and story state.

We are also evaluating Foundry VTT for maps and atmosphere. It is not connected to this scene, and the text experience must remain usable without it.
